What is a competitive autobid?

Prior to the start of a live auction, you are able to place a competitive autobid.

A competitive autobid is when you place an autobid on a lot and the system will notify you if there is another bidder with a higher autobid. If another bidder places a bid higher than yours, you will be notified via email to allow you to raise your bid if you would like.

Knowing if there is a higher autobid can potentially increase your chances of being the highest bidder on a lot.
