Can I bid live in the auction even if I've placed an autobid?

Absolutely! You can join the auction in real-time and bid live if you would like.

To do this, click the ‘Bid live now' button and enter the live bidding screen. For verification purposes, you'll be required to login to the bidding applet before placing live bids.

When your lot is being sold, you’ll know when your max bid’s working, as you'll see that you're in the lead without clicking anything. 

If your max bid is beaten, and you want to continue to try to win the item, you can just bid live by clicking on the 'bid' button up until the point where you hit your budget or win!

Don't hesitate if you are interested in the item! The system will never let you place a bid against yourself. You're safe to bid as much or as little as you'd like.
