Adjusting or removing a bid in a Timed Online auction
If your bid was a max bid placed in a timed auction you can amend the bid by placing a new max bid. The new max bid placed can be lower than your current max bid but cannot be lower than the current bid on the lot.
EX: If your max bid is 100 and the current bid is 50, you can change your max bid to a minimum of 50.
If you have placed a max bid on a lot by accident, and would like to remove it completely, you will need to contact the auctioneer directly to see if they would be willing to remove the bid from the lot.

Adjusting or removing a bid in a Live Webcast auction

If your bid was place in a live auction after the Live Webcast is made available the bid cannot be removed and is unavailable in your "My Bidspotter" and "Current" autobids page.
If your bid was placed before a live auction and you'd like to lower the bid, this can be done by selecting "Increase your bid" on the lot and updating the amount of your bid (note you cannot lower your bid below the current bid). To remove a bid, you’ll need to click on the My BidSpotter link at the top right of your BidSpotter page, and select the “Autobids” box under the “My Live Auctions” section.
Locate the lot with the autobid you would like to delete and select the link underneath the max bid amount on the right that says, “Retract bid”.
Note: Autobids cannot be removed once the live webcast is available
Select the reason for retracting your bid, and click the “Retract my bid” button. Retracting bids can affect other buyers. Anybody retracting a bid regularly may lose the option to retract bids in the future.

If you are unable to retract your bid using the steps above, you will need to contact the auctioneer directly to see if they would be willing to remove the bid from the lot.
