If you are having issues hearing the audio in the Live auction, first you'll need to ensure you are currently in the Live Bidding Applet.
To open the Live Bidding Applet, simply go to the main Catalog page and select the blue "Bid live now" button located to the right of the title. The Live Bidding Applet will open as a pop-up and require you to sign in.
If you are in the Live Bidding Applet not hearing audio
In the Live Bidding Applet, you'll see the auctioneer's logo as well as a speaker icon with an X next to it in the upper right of the window. This indicates that there is audio available for the auction, however, it is currently muted.
To enable audio in the auction, you will need to click on the speaker. The X will change to sound waves. Audio should now be available.
If you do not hear audio and you see the speaker with the sound waves:
- Ensure your computer audio is turned up and speakers plugged in. You may want to play audio from a different webpage to confirm the speakers are working properly.
- Switch to Google Chrome - it has been found that Google Chrome is the most compatible browser with our site
- If you are still encountering issues, please reach out to support@bidspotter.com or start a chat by clicking on "Live Chat" at the top of Bidspotter.com
Please note: If you see the logo of an auctioneer and a blue message stating "Auctioneer not broadcasting", the auction has not yet started, or the auctioneer has chosen not to broadcast audio for this auction.
